Hey look, it’s the woods

Green grass, trees of all shapes and sizes, leaves scattered across the dirt floor, and sunlight falling in the cracks. Nature is my safe and happy place in this world but how many of us really spend time in it? We really should go there more often because think of the benefits: it’s relatively quiet except for bird song, cool, calming, fascinating, and it opens our eyes to new things. I’m just taking this moment to possibly enlighten you on this place out there that can rejuvenate your mind and help you find some peace from life. You really just need to open the door to your backyard and you’ll be on your way. I encourage you now if you’re reading this to take the time to visit this place God has created for our benefit and find a bit of peace plus who knows, maybe you’ll discover something new.

You're never too old to play

People play all the time in many different ways and as you get older the way you play changes but you still do it. I happen to enjoy bike riding and taking walks but I really didn't get into that until a few years ago when I discovered my mom's love of it. There are some activities that you might have enjoyed when you were young and still like them now, which is great because you have something you can always turn to. Play is important for you so that your body can get moving, burn off energy, and release hormones because it really is fun to get moving. You can play indoors or out, do it with friends or solo, do the same thing each time or switch it up but how ever you do it, it's your thing.
